Overview

Geography lies at the centre of many of the world’s most pressing issues – our BA Human Geography course focuses exclusively on the human dimension of the discipline, enabling you to specialise in the socio-geographic challenges of our time. You’ll join a course ranked 1st in the UK for student satisfaction in the 2023, 2022 and 2020 Guardian University Guides and 5th overall in 2023. You’ll study topics including population, migration, geopolitics, sustainability, health, ageing, development, conflict, global crime and inequalities. This breadth of content coupled with the development of an extensive range of qualitative, statistical and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) research skills will prepare you for a career in a vast range of employment sectors.
