To this end, this course has been designed for those wanting to have a career in Risk Management as well as professionals from a variety of sectors who are interested in strengthening their careers in risk management. On this course you will gain analytical, problem solving, ethical decision making and people management and leadership skills and knowledge to succeed in the fast-paced corporate world. Knowledge and skills on management of risks are key parts of risk review, which will enable you to manage contemporary risks more effectively in the future, and prompt you to think about new risks that are emerging. The course balances theoretical analysis with practical application to develop a critical and questioning approach to the conceptual underpinnings of risk management. To this end the course leads with modules that critically examine the scope of generic risk management, business continuity and crisis management, the internal control of risk, different approaches to risk management decisions, and specialise in relevant risk-related topics.
