You will learn about education in a range of settings, from schools and universities to online communities, social movements, workplaces and care homes. You will develop expertise in UK education and will study global, international and comparative educational perspectives. The course currently includes an optional placement unit, Education in Practice, where you can apply your learning and gain valuable workplace experience through a placement in a school, charitable organisation, business, museum, community group or research setting. This degree is great preparation for careers anywhere that education matters, including routes into primary teaching, work in the public or private sectors and careers with charitable organisations.
