The course is designed for students who seek to broaden their knowledge in both the accounting and finance disciplines. The accounting aspect provides students with insight into accounting institutions (eg audit firms), accounting regulations and accounting techniques that are used by and support organisations that actively participate in and outside the financial market. The finance aspect explores financial institutions, financial trading, financial investment, financial regulations and structures that support the market. Students are kept abreast with current events through research-led teaching by academic experts in the field.
