You’ll study immigration patterns and the challenges they raise for would-be migrants and states. You’ll learn about human rights, geopolitical dynamics such as the rise of China and questions of development, poverty, famine, disease and gender equality, within the international system.  In learning about these issues, you’ll study different regions in the world from the Asia-Pacific to Latin America to Europe, Africa, the United States, and beyond.  You’ll be taught by academic staff who are active researchers and experts in their field. And you’ll have the opportunity to take part in study trips, internships and placements in the UK and Europe, as well as an extended period of study abroad.
