The tourism and travel sector is one of the largest in the world and accounts for 319 million jobs across the globe. Even with so many self-service travel websites around, the industry is ever-changing and constantly on the rise, which means there is a need for knowledgeable travel and tourism professionals. The Tourism - Travel program is a two-year diploma that focuses on travel consulting, sales and service, tariffs and ticketing, group tours, package holidays, accommodations, airline service and reservations. These tourism courses will also teach you world geography and the latest computer technology used in the industry. You'll graduate this travel program with hands-on learning experience as well as skills in business and administration, analysis, customer relations, promotion, conflict resolution and more. This tourism course will present job opportunities with tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, transportation companies, hotels, destination management companies, government tourism offices. You’ll be prepared for jobs including: Travel advisor (agent); Airline check-in agent; Tour manager; Tourism guest services; Tour operator customer service representative; Flight attendant.
