Toronto, the biggest city in Canada, rose in the rankings of the top cities in the world this year, inching up a notch to the 23rd spot in Resonance’s World’s Best Cities report for 2024. In that report, the global consulting firm also included Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Montreal as among the top 100 cities on the planet. The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) boasts a population of almost 6.8 million people and is a magnet for immigration from throughout the world.
