Our Extended Master’s in Education MA begins with a 15-week programme that will help improve your English language ability and study skills before starting your master’s course in education. There is also the opportunity for those who need extra English language support to complete a pre-sessional course prior to the extended master’s programme. Following this initial 15 weeks, you will go on to join our Education MA. This course will cover a diverse range of topics around the education sector and by the end of your studies you’ll be prepared to take on a rewarding career in this field. Throughout the course you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to debate different subjects around philosophy, the history of education, curriculum theory, psychology and much more. This course has also been designed around our Education for Social Justice (ESJ) framework to ensure social justice and equity are embedded into your studies and wider career.
